The end is in sight! Only 2 more shifts for each of the 2 4-man groups. My team (tango) just finished our 7th of 9 shifts while “cash” is on the course now for their 7th of 8 shifts. My shift started in illinois and went across indiana (through bloomington and columbus) and ended in oxford ohio. Today’s shift was almost all on the TT bike while the overnight last night was a lot of climbing on the road bike. My Seven’s from CBS are rocking for me.
Time to get some rest now before tackling the hills of west virginia in the morning and then drilling it into Annapolis for the finish. Our goal is to be done before midnight tomorrow (thursday).
