Mavic R-SYS Recall

As of January 5th, 2009, Mavic has issued a voluntary recall of all R-SYS FRONT wheels. This includes R-SYS standard, R-SYS Premium, R-SYS Test, and R-SYS Tubular. Mavic states to stop riding the wheel immediately.

After reading the article, it sounds as if you-the-R-SYS owner will receive two wheels:

1) Mavic Aksium front wheel to tide you over for two months; yours to keep, according to the article.

2) The new and improved R-SYS front wheel in March 2009.

This recall affects the front wheel only. If you have an R-SYS wheelset, regardless of whether or not you’ve purchased the wheel from CBS, please call or email us IMMEDIATELY and we’ll gladly take care of you.

Lee Smith: Winner!

Congratulations to CBS client Lee Smith on winning the Seattle Cyclocross Women’s Cat 3 Overall Series!

Lee won nearly every race in the 8 race series aboard her new Seven Tsunami Titanium bicycle.

Lee is already preparing to race Master’s World Championships in Mol, Belgium in January. Nice work Lee!

2009 Pricing Note

For a very limited time, Seven Cycles will be offering a special Tour de France Axiom SG or Axiom Race with a commemorative paint job celebrating the 95th Tour de France.
