Sharan’s Seven Evergreen SL is designed for randonneuring in the Pacific Northwest. The titanium frame is fully custom geometry, enabling this compact bike (41 cm seat tube, 52 cm top tube) to carry 3 large bottles, on 42c tires, wrapped in full fenders, without a hint of toe overlap.
The only carbon on the bike is the fork. We’ve painted it olive green to distinguish from the sea of plain titanium bikes. (Okay, okay. The bottle cages are carbon, but the bottles themselves are metallic, reusable designs from Bivo.)
Wheels are 650b Astral Wanderlust rims with a Sun dynamo hub in front and White Industries in the rear.
Tires are Rene Herse Babyshoe 650 x 42c, with fenders from Rene Herse, and a Lords Seat mudflap from Mamnick.
Drivetrain is Sram Force 1x with 42t chainring and GX 10-50t cassette and derailleur.
Front rack supports a Berthoud Bag from Rene Herse.
The Form saddle has been transformative. It her riding career, this is the first saddle that has been comfortable for Sharan.
Sharan is taking it out for her first 1,200 k ride in September. We’re looking forward to hearing about this and other adventures to come.
